What it is
My Business Buddy is a back office web app for people who run more than one business under a single entity. Income, expenses, customers, projects, quotes and invoices live in one place, split per trading name, with a dashboard charting income against expenses across the year.
The document generator handles per year auto numbering, drag to reorder line items, multi currency with conversion at the issue date, Malta VAT Article 11 exemption and PDF export. Marking an invoice paid creates the matching income entry automatically, and a quote converts into a linked invoice in one click. Project tickets push straight into a quote or invoice, with AI drafting the client facing wording from the raw task list.
Every user gets a private forwarding address. Forward a receipt and a multimodal AI model reads it, routes it to the right business and queues a draft expense to approve. Bank statement reconciliation flags anything that cleared the account but never reached the books.
Businesses can connect their own Stripe and RevenueCat accounts so sales revenue imports on its own, with platform commission booked as an expense. Those credentials are encrypted in the application layer before reaching the database.
